| About the NWI |
 |
| Mission |
The NWI or National Wells Index is a
non-profit organisation dedicated to
preserving the historical, social and
material legacy of England’s Holy Wells
through ongoing programs of research
and publication. |
 |
| Fieldwork |
An important aspect of the NWI’s work
is a field unit, used to research, record
and reconstruct many of England’s Holy
Wells so that we can conserve this
important resource for future
generations to enjoy. |
 |
| Education |
The NWI recognise the importance of
education for the preservation of a
better future and work towards the
creation of a range of free education
resources. The premier education resource of the NWI is the NWI Forum that can be found here. |
